Lead groups on guided tour of the Woodlawn Museum and other historic buildings of Woodlawn Manor, a 19th century plantation. Share information about the Plamer family that owned the property for nearly a century and its other residents. Learn about the history of local Quaker, free and enslaved communities as well as local agricultural practices. Volunteers may also be called upon to lead hands-on activities during special programs.

If you have a love of history, enjoy working with the public and admire beautiful scenery this will be a great volunteer opportunity for you!

This position is SSL approved. The barn is currenly only open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Training will be provided and is free.

Previous experience as an UGRR Trail conductor or other historic sites volunteer guide is a plus, but not mandatory.
