Storm Water Maintenance Facility Upkeep - Meadowbrook Maintenance Area

Volunteers will be helping with the important upkeep of the stormwater maintenance (SWM) areas in the Southern Region of Montgomery Parks. SWM areas are important as they protect the streams and park areas from flooding and having "blow-outs" with loss of plant and animal life.

Duties may include weeding, planting, mulching, and other activities as assigned. Volunteers should dress appropriately, put on bug spray and sun screen, and wear long sleeves, long pants and sturdy shoes to avoid poison ivy, sunburn and bug bites.
