Work with your team to remove trash & litter from our Parks! We ask for a two weeks notice before your cleanup. This opportunity is eligible for SSL HOURS.Group Leader requirements:- Must be 18 years & up- Must communicate all requirements and park policies with group members, and ensure fulfillmentIf you and your group can meet these requirements, register here and we'll proceed with the next steps. What we'll need:1. Confirm cleanup details (qualified park or trail, date, time, # volunteers)2. Let us know if you would like to have a Stream Strider help lead your cleanup. Stream Striders are trained local volunteer Leaders that kick off cleanup service projects with a short educational program on watersheds & litter.3. The Montgomery Parks Stream Striders volunteer program is accepting Spring Applications! Stream Striders facilitate conservation projects that involve an educational component as well as a service component. Applications are open for adult volunteers interested in leadership, watershed education, & community engagement at their local stream valley parks. How do I become a Stream Strider?1.
