Little Bennett Campground is hosting a spooky Haunted Trail and Magic Pumpkin Patch this Fall, and needs volunteers to help it be the spookiest place in the woods!
We have 3 ways you can help us! See choices below, and choose the shift(s) that work best for you. 1. *ALL SPOTS FILLED* Set up the week before the trail opens (Sept. 26, 27, 28, Tues./Weds./Thurs. 3-6pm.)Help us set up the stations on the haunted trail. Could include carrying boxes, putting up tents, assembling scenes the week before.
2. *ALL SPOTS FILLED* Magic Pumpkin Patch Nights (Friday Nights Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25) Set up and monitor the magic pumpkin patch, greet campers, help kids decorate and plant their seed marker, "make it magic", and then at end of night move pumpkins from inside out to the magic pumpkin patch.3. Haunted Trail Volunteers (Saturday Nights Sept. 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26) Wear your costume and stand at assigned locations and follow a script. Jump scare along the Haunted Trail! Other volunteers will help out behind the scenes (running music, fog machines, etc.). Haunted trail volunteers have additional requirements:- Bring a flashlight- Wear scary costumes/masks - it doesn't have to be elaborate, you can be a zombie in old clothes with the right make-up!- Dress for the weather, especially the cooler temps in the evening.- Wear shoes that can get dirty!
An email with all of these details and more will be sent to applicants before their shifts.
