Saturday, September 19, 9:30am to 2:30pm.Join Brookside Gardens as a volunteer for Children's Day.Children and their families will explore the science and art of gardening through child-driven art projects and engaging science activities. Kids will rotate through our outdoor activity stations designed to educate and entertain.Volunteers should dress family-friendly and for the weather as the event is outdoors.SSL Approved.

Information Desk Assistants play a vital role in the operation of the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center serving as the primary greeters to the Gardens. They answer visitor inquiries and call attention to garden highlights on maps, answer the main phone line and redirect phone calls, provide up-to-date information on exhibits, seasonal highlights, driving directions and hours of operation. This position involves periods of sitting and/or standing behind the Information Desk in 4-hour shifts.We are seeking volunteers for shifts Monday-Sunday, 9am-1pm or 1-5pm. Minimum 3 shifts per month and one-year commitment required.
