Brookside Gardens is seeking volunteers to help visitors learn about the ecological importance of butterflies and teach them what they can do in their own backyards to help sustain these extraordinary insects.Open April 1 to September 7, 2026. Daily shifts from 9am-12pm and 12-3pm.Minimum of 10 shifts required.Apply today and we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss more. You will be able to sign up for shifts after the initial interview.

Information Desk Assistants play a vital role in the operation of the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center serving as the primary greeters to the Gardens. They answer visitor inquiries and call attention to garden highlights on maps, answer the main phone line and redirect phone calls, provide up-to-date information on exhibits, seasonal highlights, driving directions and hours of operation. This position involves periods of sitting and/or standing behind the Information Desk in 4-hour shifts.We are seeking volunteers for shifts Monday-Sunday, 9am-1pm or 1-5pm. Minimum 3 shifts per month and one-year commitment required.

Brookside Gardens is seeking Volunteer Camp Counselors for the Summer of 2026.
