Description
Information desk assistants play a vital role in the operation of the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center serving as the primary greeters to the Gardens. They answer visitor inquiries and call attention to garden highlights on maps, answer the main phone line and redirect phone calls, provide up to date information on exhibits, seasonal highlights, driving directions and hours of operation.
This position involves periods of sitting and or standing behind the information desk in 4-hour shifts.
We are seeking volunteers for Saturdays 1-5pm. Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per month. At least one year commitment required.
