Description
Information Desk Assistants play a vital role in the operation of the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center serving as the primary greeters to the Gardens. They answer visitor inquiries and call attention to garden highlights on maps, answer the main phone line and redirect phone calls, provide up-to-date information on exhibits, seasonal highlights, driving directions and hours of operation.
This position involves periods of sitting and/or standing behind the Information Desk in 4-hour shifts.
We are seeking volunteers for shifts Monday-Sunday, 9am-1pm or 1-5pm. Minimum 3 shifts per month and one-year commitment required.
Minimum age of volunteers: 18
Volunteer Type: Adult, Senior (55+)
